Animation

My initial interest in animation was with the intention of creating a music video clip for the Aboriginal artist Bart Willoughby. Having earlier painted the cover for his album Proud, I chose the song Aboriginal Reggae as the subject for my animation. Totally unaware of the complexity and time involved in creating the finished product, I none the less enjoyed the process .Taking night classes in stop motion animation at Footscray Community Art Centre I soon went on to develop storylines for some poetry I had written slowly developing a means to recreate the colours and aspects of my painting style through animation.
